This family loved to host but had nowhere outside to do it, just an open lawn that baked in summer and went unused by September. They wanted defined zones for cooking, dining, and sitting by a fire.
We laid out a paver patio with distinct zones, wrapped it with a seating wall and pillars, and anchored the far end with a gas fire feature so the space works from spring through the first cold nights.
A good outdoor room is planned like an indoor one. We set traffic paths, kept the grill area clear of seating, and positioned the fire feature as a focal point, with lighting and power run so it stays usable after dark.

Fire features, seating walls, and gathering spaces that stretch your season.
