A back corner that finally gets used
The homeowners had a low, poorly drained back corner that stayed wet after every rain and grew more moss than grass. They wanted a place to gather in the evenings without tracking mud into the house.
We regraded the area, built a deep compacted aggregate base, and set a tumbled paver patio with a raised fire-pit and a low seating wall to define the space.
Built on a base that survives winter
In this climate the base is the whole job. We excavated to frost-safe depth, compacted in lifts, and finished the joints with polymeric sand and steel edge restraint so the pavers stay tight and level through every freeze-thaw cycle.
